Welcome to Ms. Esposito's Social Studies Site!

Welcome to class!

I am excited to begin our year together questioning, investigating, and immersing ourselves in history. Because I expect you to have high expectations for myself and this class, I will also have high expectations of you! This year, I will be teaching United States History, Human Rights, and Genocide Studies.

I have designed this site for you, as well as your parents/guardians to access information about our class, our materials and course work, your original work, and some other pretty cool resources that could help you out throughout the year. Please check this site regularly, as I will be constantly posting new materials, information, and assignments for you to view and access.

While I know not all of you consider yourselves historians, I am going to be challenging you to think like one. You will wear many hats in this class including writer, reader, thinker....historian, political scientist, economist, geographer, and even psychologist. Be prepared to challenge yourself, work hard, and have fun! History shouldn't be boring, and it certainly does not have to be.

You will get out of this class what you put in it!

I am beyond excited to begin! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. All of my contact information can be found within the "Contact Me" tab on this site! Thank you for helping me start this year off right!

    Sincerely,

           Ms. Esposito
